Arthur Christmas (2011)

Have you ever wondered how Santa Claus divides all the presents in one night? The answer is: with modern technology, the base of operations from the North Pole! But this year the mission fails, as a child from the hundreds of millions on Earth was not forgottenand will receive the gift. It is the perfect time to Arthur, the youngest son of Santa Claus, become unwilling hero. Aided by his grandfather and an elf named Bryony. He will start in a race against time for the last gift to reach their destination before dawn.

Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation presents 3D animated film ArthurChristmas / Christmas Great Race, an Aardman production, directed by Sarah Smith.Screenplay by Peter Baynham and Sarah Smith. Film producers are Peter Lord, DavidSproxton, Carla Shelley and Steve Pegram and co-producer Chris Juen. Co-executive producer is Peter Baynham, and co-director Barry Cook. The soundtrack is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams.

Voices are played by James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent, ImeldaStaunton and Ashley Jensen. Soundtrack includes the song "Santa Claus Is Comin 'ToTown" by Justin Bieber on his new album, "Under The Mistletoe".

Arthur Christmas film is the first collaboration between Sony Pictures Animation andAardman, the animation company known for such films as Chicken Run and Wallace &Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. His accomplishments earned him over 400international awards, including four Academy Awards.
