In Kung Fu Panda Jack Black is Po the Panda, a lowly waiter in a restaurant noodles,which is crazy karate, but whose shape does not allow you to practice this sport.

  Întâmplarea face ca singura lui prietenă, Gloria (Brittany Murphy), să fie cea mai bună cântăreaţă din acel loc. Mumble şi Gloria au o relaţie din momentul în care ies din ouă, însă ea se opune felului lui ciudat de a topai. Mumble este pur şi simplu prea diferit, mai ales pentru Noah cel Bătrân (Hugo Weaving), severul conducător al Ţinutului Pinguinilor Imperiali, care în cele din urmă îl exclude din comunitate. 
  
  Pentru prima dată departe de casă, Mumble întâlneşte un grup de pinguini care îi seamănă întrucâtva, fiind cu siguranţă nişte pinguini nu prea imperiali - Adelie Amigos. Conduşi de Ramon (Robin Williams), Adelies adoptă pe loc stilul chic de a dansa al lui Mumble şi îl invită la o petrecere. 
  
  În Ţinutul Adelie, Mumble cere sfatul lui Lovelace, care este un guru (tot Robin Williams fiind cel care-i împrumută vocea), un pinguin Rockhopper cu penele stându-i aiurea, care este în stare să-ţi răspundă la orice întrebare legată de viaţă dacă îi dai o pietricică în schimb. 
  
  Împreună cu Lovelace şi Amigos, Mumble porneşte la drum prin ţinuturi vaste şi, după nişte întâlniri de dimensiuni epice, ne arată că să-ţi rămâi credincios ţie însuţi înseamnă de fapt totul.
